about

SevenAM is music made of sounds.
SevenAM is not experimental music, it's my personal take on what music could be in these times.
In most music sound is a decoration of the notes which carry the actual meaning. Here sounds carry the meaning, and notes are an accident. Rhythm is in between: sometimes it counts, sometimes it doesn't.

This record is not meant to be played on radios, in cars or through laptop speakers. It features phase effects and dynamic panning, so it shouldn't be listened to in mono. I suggest listening through decent headphones or speakers in a quiet environment. Dynamics are important, so the music is not squashed to achieve competitive levels; I sequenced the tunes so that they make sense in this order, and the relative volumes reflect this choice: if you think something is too soft (or too loud), you are encouraged to use your volume control.

about

Davide Sardo Sardinien, Italy

I am a musician and sound designer. When I'm not playing bass with the band Straitkurv, writing music for theatre or doing sound for Shibuya I enjoy grabbing my mouse and chopping waveforms.
